Dear Grand Chief Noskey,

Thank you for taking the time to meet myself and MLA Rehn and for brining your concerns forward surrounding potential crown land sales in Treaty 8 Territory. To date all Indigenous consultation on the Mackenzie County land sales have been conducted according to the Alberta First Nations Consultation Policy and Guidelines, with advice and direction from the Aboriginal Consultation Office and the Aboriginal Law Branch. Consultations with Indigenous communities with the opportunity to provide feedback on the proposed lands being considered for sale will continue.
